Concertgoers were treated to a tour de force of fingerstyle pyrotechnics, from rootsy Merle Travis thumbpicking to Kyle's highly varied originals.
The first set would have been great enough, but Brian Henke was in the audience, and he brought another fingerstyle champion, Greg Gilbertson, whose plane had been grounded after his appearance at Woodchoppers.
So a second set featured Greg, Brian, AND Kyle in a round-robin format. Each presented a tune in rotation, ending with a couple of numbers where all three played together.
